Description

Intellectual property (IP) is essential for safeguarding your technology and ensuring the long-term success of your commercialization endeavors. The Cornell Engineering Commercialization Fellowship invites the entrepreneurial community to attend Intellectual Property (IP) Do’s and Don’ts, a workshop led by Frank DeCosta, an expert in patent litigation and a partner at Finnegan Henderson, a full-service IP firm, where he is the leader of the firm’s litigation section with experience in patent litigation, software, and client counseling. In this in-person workshop, participants will be provided with the knowledge and tools to protect their IP, as well as information on different strategies for patent filing. At the end of the session, there will be a Q&A session in which participants will have the opportunity to ask their most IP questions. This event is free and open to the public.
