Helping hand for licensed private fence contractor in NE Portland Cully neighborhood, with 28 years in business This is an outdoors job. The helper will: *** Be punctual and reliable *** Be at least 18 years of age *** No drug use and no alcohol during work hours/on the job. Required Skills/Abilities: *** Climb up and down folding ladders. *** Use pliers, bolt cutters, cordless drills. *** Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. *** Must be able to lift and carry or push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time. *** Additional tasks may be assigned to the helper from time to time. We supply tools, water, safety equipment, and transportation to jobsite. Familiar with cement mixing a plus. Welding experience a plus. Experience with 9-gauge, 11-gauge chain link fabric a plus. Schedule: 6 to 8 hour shift, approximately 8AM to 2PM. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays. No night work. No overtime. We don't work in the rain. Job locations and sites range from Vancouver WA to Roseburg OR. The helping hand will need comfortable cotton work clothing, work boots, and a sun hat. We supply gloves, eye protections, drinking water, transportation to and from the job site. Daily CASH pay: starting $20 per hour depending upon experience and skills.
