That's not true. But you did give yourselves the ability to turn over any election. And put in who ever you choose. So it's rigged now. It was (bebatably) legal. But it's a cheat. Those states just negated the whole reason for a vote since their officials can just override it. So no more democracy. Those states are now autocracies. So (debatably) legally they have seceded from the union. As America is a democracy. So, while they still have Americans in them. The states themselves and many of their people. Are no longer Americans. The constitution was clear on the intent and spirit of itself. While it can't cover everything. The spirit was that America was a democracy that hinges on the voice of the people. As long as they follow the intent of the constitution. If the people vote legaly for something that negates the intent or spirit. It is against the constitution. So in a very real sense. They have declared their independence from America. And can pass whatever laws they like. They are their own countries. Not governed by our government any longer. Yet they are trying to take control of America. That makes them an invading force. They are not taking back America. They are attacking America. And trying to turn it into something else. Where voting and the voice of the people. Can just be overriden by whoever's in charge. The very thing we created America to escape. Now if they come into power they can pass whatever laws they like to stay there. And whoever is in charge. Can just override everyone and stay in power just like a king or putin. This is a case of (depending on what side your on or how you look at it.) Of doing the wrong thing for all if the right reasons. They can still call themselves America. They can call themselves whatever they like. But our America. Is dead. And the republicans killed it. So they can be like Russia. And just write any truth they like. No matter what the truth actually is. They can change the story to work for them or make them happy. No matter what else it does in reality to anyone or any thing. There is no constitution to answer to. Just the whims of who's in charge. This is the very thing that all of the other free nations have always feared would happen here. It makes us the enemy of the free world. Just like other autocracies. So don't kid yourselves. You can have the things you like. But you just destroyed the greatest attempt at freedom in the history of man kind so you can have it your way. You can make a country out of it. But you might as well take the flag and toss it in the trash along with all of the people who died for it.
