Luau Luncheon Set For June 22 At Hale Senior Activity Center

DUNEDIN, FL —Dunedin Parks & Recreation offers monthly, themed luncheons at the Hale Senior Activity Center, 330 Douglas Ave. This month's featured luncheon is has a luau theme and will take place Wednesday, June 22 at noon. The cost is $6 with a recreation card and $7 without. Registration is due by Friday, June 17. In ancient Hawaii, men and women ate their meals apart. in 1819, King Kamehameha II abolished the traditional religious practice which led the king to eat with women.
