Event Details: It's a Summer of SUP! Join us at Quail Lake for our donation-based, all-inclusive open SUP rentals! All equipment and instruction are included in your 1-hour standup paddleboard (SUP) rental! Participants can pre-register ahead of time to secure a time slot. Walk-ups will also be available on a first come, first serve basis! Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to start time. Pre-registered participants who arrive after 10 minutes past start time will forfeit their reservation. Where: Quail Lake - Southwest side of lake. See map below Parking: Parking is limited at Quail Lake. Allow for enough time to walk from parking to southwest side of lake. Please abide by all posted parking signs. Do not park in neighborhood across street from lake. Cost: This is a donation-based event. A $15 donation per person is recommended. Please donate what you can afford. We will be accepting cash, credit card, Venmo, and check donation-based tickets for day of walk-ups! Donation Tiers: $20: Super Yeti Donor - Help covers cost for a participant in need.$15: Grateful Yeti - Recommended donation allows us to continue to offer accessible programs.$10: Adventure Yeti - Need a hand? We're here to break down barriers!UpaDowna's mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all. Our donation-based events break down monetary barriers while also allowing us to continue to offer free and affordable events! Refunds: Forfeited reservations due to late arrival may be rescheduled to another time slot if space is available. No refunds may be issued if reservation is forfeited, and participant(s) is unable to reschedule to another time slot. Cancellations due to inclement weather may be refunded or transferred to a future date. FAQs: Do I need to know how to swim? - No. All participants will be required to wear a PFD at all times so don't worry if you fall. Nervous about being on the water? Our staff will be available to SUP alongside to make sure you are comfortable on our SUPs! Can I bring my own board? - Yes, Quail Lake is a public lake and we will be sharing the lake with other recreational users. You do not need to register if you bring your own board, but remember all personal watercraft users must purchase a daily non-motorized boat permit through City of COS. This does not apply to registered participants utilizing UpaDowna SUPs. Can I bring a friend? - Yes, but they will need to pre-register or as a walk-up.
