Join community members at St. Timothy Community Church as we work together to hear the voice of the community, spur collaboration, and develop a plan to improve the health of northern Lake County. At this day-long Community Planning Event, expect to share your unique perspective with others who are committed to better health, provide valuable input, come to a consensus on important issues, and agree upon direction and next steps. You will leave the event with a meaningful plan, including self-assigned action items you will work on in the monthly meetings that follow. During this free, inclusive workshop, you will be asked to imagine a diverse northern Lake County today, where historically underserved residents are heard as a result of dismantling systemic health, education, safety, and economic disparities. To work toward making this vision a reality, you’ll collaborate in small groups through the Indiana Healthy Opportunities for People Everywhere (I-HOPE) initiative.
