Press release from the Waterford Public Library: June 1, 2022 Local author Taylor Oliveira joins us for a discussion on her new book Autumn Years: a journey from darkness to light. Tay spent the first 24 years of her life selectively mute. Throughout the entirety of those years she was completely unaware of this episodic muteness. At age 24, when she became aware, she did not understand why she couldn't speak to certain individuals, but knows now that her invisible disability was a blessing in disguise. This is her journey.
