Schweiger Ranch Nature Walk: Corn Moon

Join Schweiger Ranch Foundation and a South Suburban Parks & Recreation District Naturalist as we walk to a peaceful spot on the trail to experience the rising full moon, which rises at approximately 7:51pm. Sunset is at 7:16pm, so we’ll return to the parking lot by the light of the full moon, using our human night vision which we’ll experience as we enjoy the moonlight. The trail is nicely level, so we’ll use flashlights only if absolutely necessary for our return trip. This event is held outdoors and may be canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather.
