Group Seeks Volunteers To Clean Up Lake Lillinonah

NEWTOWN, CT — Friends of the Lake is looking for volunteers for a Save the Lake Day event this Saturday on Lake Lillinonah. Volunteers are needed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and should meet at t the State Boat Launch on Route 133 in Bridgewater. This year the FOTL – STLD event will return to the normal collection of man-made debris that has built up along the shoreline of Lake Lillinonah. Refreshments, gloves and garbage bags will be provided.
