Press release from the Town of Concord: May 30, 2022 Community Preservation Committee Announces Start of 2022-2023 Community Preservation Act Funding Cycle The Concord Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is pleased to announce that applications are now available for the 2022-2023 Community Preservation Act funding cycle. Recommendations for funding will be made by the CPC at the 2023 Annual Town Meeting. Applications are available on the Town's website at https://concordma.gov/1054/2022-Funding-Application-Materials. A timeline for the Application process and further information on additional materials to submit for review are also available on the website. This year's deadline for applications is Friday, September 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. As part of the funding application review process, the CPC will hold two public informational sessions. The first informational session will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 beginning at 7:00 pm. The second informational session will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, beginning at 7:00 p.m. These meetings may be held virtually. Please check the CPC's webpage for meeting updates or contact Planning staff ([email protected]) for more information. The Committee strongly recommends that any individuals or groups interested in submitting an application attend one of the informational sessions on June 21st or August 16th. The CPA informational session is an important opportunity for prospective applicants to gather helpful information on the program and application process, learn about the CPC's procedures and expectations regarding applications, and gain feedback from the CPC on their potential project. The CPC looks forward to working with Town committees, Town officials, and non-profit groups who wish to help preserve Concord with projects in the areas of community housing, historic preservation, open space or recreation.
