Seeking an onsite Building Maintenance Manager for a large commercial office building
***Need to have own transportation (truck)
You would be managing and maintaining this building and handling/fixing any issues that arise. You will be the first point of contact for the tenants.
Must be self motivated and have excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
This will be a M-F position and an possibly a few hours occasionally on a weekend
Duties include/but not limited to:
-Making sure the building is locked/open when it is supposed to be
-Maintaining the inside and outside of building (There is a cleaning person, but if something doesn't look presentable during business hours, it would be your job to clean it up)
- Occasional Painting
-Fixing plumbing issues (toilets, sinks, etc)
-Fixing minor electrical issues
-Floor/carpet install experience would be a plus (on occasion)
-Shoveling/Snow blowing in the winter
-Occasional Light landscaping around building (some clean up, weed wacking, light weeding)
-Collecting and keeping track of monthly rents & leases
-Showing potential tenants vacant spots/offices
-Keeping track and organizing all keys for all office suites/spaces
-Organizing the office and supply/equipment/tool area
-Making sure heat and AC are working in offices and troubleshooting issues
-** If you know how to put down vinyl flooring and/or install carpet tiles that is a major plus
