Description
One month ago I took in this little guy from a friend who was moving out of state for retirement into a specific community that unfortunately does not allow pets. He is the cutest little guy, but unfortunately he cannot get used to my three cats. He barks and chases after them on a daily basis, and I don't think our home is going to be the right fit for him long term. We do have a dog which he absolutely loves, so a home with another dog or dogs would be fine. He is super friendly and loves all people and kids so a home with young kids is fine. He is neutered/up to date on shots and turned 2 years old in May. He weighs 10 lbs.
The type of home we are looking for:
-Kids and dogs are ok, but please no cats
-Must be patient and willing to take him out in that yard to go to the bathroom frequently - he does fine with potty habits if he is frequently taken out, but doesn't ask to go out on his own, and will have the occasional accident in the house
-He likes to sleep in the bed with the owner but will do fine with his own bed. He does tend to bark when crated (likes to be close to his owner)
-He does not like rides in the car and gets car sick, so please try to keep rides to a minimum
-He walks fine on a leash and loves going for walks
If you are interested, please send me an email with more about you and your family - please more than one sentence. Be aware the we are charging a rehoming fee and would like you to come and meet him. Let me know if you have any questions at all. Thanks so much! We are sad to see him go, but want to do what is best for him. Hopefully if he goes to someone local to Taunton, we can still get some updates on him and maybe even have some visits with him and our other dog. Looking forward to hearing from you.
