The Jail N' Bail will have 5 "warrants" available for purchase every hour from 9 am until 4 pm. Please ensure all "jailbirds" are willing and available at the time designated on the warrant. The Jail N' Bail Fundraiser will work as such: People will volunteer to be "arrested" and/ or People will purchase "warrants" for willing participants"Jailbirds" will be picked up and taken for "mugshots" and placed in "jail" at the Chamber of Commerce in Clinton in their designated time block "Jailbirds" will then have to go before a "judge" who sets the "bail" amount (most "bail" amounts will start at $100) to be releasedThe "Jailbird" must then raise the "bail" money via phone calls to friends, family, co-workers, or themselves to be released and taken back to their pick-up locationThe Henry County Community Outreach would like to thank Charles Barnett for being our "Officer" for the day. We would also like to thank both David Lee, Chamber Director, and Joyce Carr, Chamber Operations Mgr, for all their assistance with this endeavor and for allowing us to use the Chamber as our "Jail" of the day, and for David Lee taking on the role of our "Judge" for the day. All proceeds of the Jail N' Bail Fundraiser will be donated to the Clinton Fire Department. The Clinton Fire Department provides emergency and ems services on all 911 calls as well as the many services provided to the community each day such as fire prevention and education programs, fire and safety inspections, smoke alarm installs and battery changes, and many other similar tasks. The Henry County Community Outreach is a committee made up of realtors and assistants from different Henry County Real Estate Offices and WCAR. Our committee includes Kat Laxague, Kristi Pfleiderer, Stacey Shanks, Tasha Smith, Kimberly Bicknell, Angela Rittenberg, and Allen Kidwiler. The main goal of this committee is to give back to the community that we live in and love so much... each of us is passionate about outreach and service and we look forward to the ways that we can assist in the betterment of the Henry County area. We would like to thank you for your support in this fundraiser for the Clinton Fire Department and we ask that you continue your support over the July 4th Holiday by coming by our booth during Olde Glory Days. We will be hosting our last fundraiser for the Clinton Fire Department from June 30th - July 2nd and we look forward to seeing you there!
