Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity presents the 14th Annual Hammer Down for Habitat Poker Run for Motorcycles, Cars and Runners to raise funds to build a Habitat house for a family in need! The event includes a 95-mile motorcycle and car drive through beautiful Tennessee countryside as well as a 26.2 mile Marathon Relay Run, all ending up at Hop Springs Beer Park in Murfreesboro for Poker Prizes, Lunch and Entertainment. Special Guest: Kevin Tetz, former HOST of DIY Network's "Classic Rides" and Spike Network's "TRUCKS!" and "Power Nation". Kevin's new series is "Hands On Cars". Kevin is a nationally known automotive paint and body artist and appears on TV and car shows. The 95 mile Motorcycle & Car “Poker Run” starts at the Habitat office in Murfreesboro (850 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Murfreesboro - just down from the Patterson Center), to Chapel Hill, to Columbia Harley-Davidson, to Arrington Vineyard and then to Hop Springs for lunch & entertainment. Poker hand cards can be picked up at each spot. Riders & drivers will receive an event T-shirt and event Tote Bag, plus poker hand at the beginning of the run, and then cards along the way, for a variety of poker hand prizes! The 26.2 Marathon Team Relay Run starts at the Habitat office in Murfreesboro and ends up at Hop Springs, where they will all pick up their poker hands for prizes. Teams of four or individual runners may sign up. All runners will receive an event T-shirt, event Tote Bag and a marathon run medal. Tickets are $35 per rider/driver/runner, $25 per passenger, $140 for a 4-person running team, $15 General Admission (lunch & entertainment only) and $10 kid's ticket (12 and under). Extra poker hands are available at the event. Sponsorship packages are available from $200 - $5000+. T-Shirts for each rider/driver/runner and passenger are created by Gwyn Snider of GKS Creative and printed by Fully Promoted.
