Description

CONCORD, NH — Investigators working to solve a double homicide investigation in Concord are asking the public for information regarding a vehicle spotted on dashcam footage at the trailhead on the day of the killings. The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office released screenshots of a 2006 to 2012 dark green Toyota RAV4 SUV that was seen parked at the Marsh Loop trailhead on Portsmouth Street on April 18, the same day Stephen Reid, 67, and Djeswende "Wende" Reid, 66, were killed. The couple went out for a walk at around 2:30 p.m. that afternoon to the area of the Broken Ground Trail system. Their bodies were recovered three days later in a wooded area in close proximity to the Marsh Loop Trail, officials said. Investigators did not release a vehicle registration for the SUV. The Reids' deaths were deemed later to be homicides based on multiple gunshot wounds to both victims. This is the second major release of information connected to the case. Investigators also released a sketch of a person of interest on May 17. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100. Tips can also be submitted online through the Crimeline website at concordregionalcrimeline.com, or text message TIP234 and your message to CRIMES (274637). All tips remain anonymous. There is a reward of up to $33,500 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person(s) responsible for the murders of Stephen and Djeswende Reid. Got a news tip?
