Seeking an advanced/expert violinist or violist for live gigs and recording sessions throughout summer 2022. We are an established soul/jazz band featuring multilingual vocals and inspired by African and Latin rhythms, dark jazz, Cumbia, New Orleans blues, and psychedelic music. Our debut EP has enjoyed modest radio play and we expect to release our first LP in early 2023. String melodies have been composed for our catalogue of a dozen songs, with room for creativity and solos. We rehearse semi-weekly, usually Wednesday or Thursday evenings, in North Seattle. We are laid back and warm humans who enjoy playing music together. We'd love to recruit another kind and committed musician to the band long-term. We are equally interested in hearing from experienced musicians who might be interested in joining us short-term for our summer schedule of performance and recording.
