Press release from the City of Minnetonka: June 1, 2022 Celebrate community at the annual Minnetonka Night to Unite celebration Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 6-9 p.m. Register your block party at minnetonkamn.gov/night-to-unite. Parties must register to receive visits from Minnetonka Police and Fire, Public Works and other city officials. Please note: Visits are not guaranteed. This year, the police department will host a block party theme contest and is collecting items for ICA Food Shelf. Find party ideas and marketing tools at minnetonkamn.gov/night-to-unite. 2022 Party Theme Contest We're encouraging parties to get creative with themed events. Our officers will be snapping photos of your party theme with department staff choosing a winner. 2022 Photo Contest We want to see photos from your event! Submit photos to our Night to Unite photo contest for a chance to win great prizes. Categories include: General, We ♥ our Officers and All about the Pets. ICA Food Shelf Neighborhoods are encouraged to gather food and cash donations to benefit ICA Food Shelf. The neighborhood with the largest total donation (by weight) will win a prize provided by ICA. ICA has a list of its current needs online at icafoodshelf.org/current-needs. Cash donations are also accepted, and every dollar donated is worth two pounds.
