The film “Through Her Eyes” is the story of Rosalee Winbush played by actress Rayven Symone Ferrell, as a timid African-American student struggling with her decision to attend a newly integrated school while finding the courage to become the change she desires under extreme racial tensions in the American South.
The film has been featured in the Pan-African Film Festival, The RSF Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, and is currently available on Amazon Prime and UrbanflixTV. This free screening will be followed by a brief panel discussion on the importance of storytelling. Trent Lumpkin, the director, executive producer TJ Jones, and other special guests will serve on the panel.
