JOLIET, IL — A man riding his motorcycle was seriously injured Thursday evening on Joliet's far west side when he crashed into a car at the intersection of Theodore Street and River Road. The man was critically injured, according to Joliet Fire Chief Greg Blaskey.
The injured motorcyclist was taken by a Joliet Fire Department Station 9 ambulance to Ascension St. Joe's hospital, Blaskey said. The wreck happened at 6:53 p.m.
More details about the crash are expected to be available later in the evening or on Friday morning, the fire chief said.
