Memory Front’s guitar player is departing amicably and moving away in late August. We play shows regularly and want to get back at it with a replacement ASAP. Our current guitar player will wrap up a string of 4 shows from June to early July, and then we will transition to studio work. This is an ideal time for someone to step in and develop/learn parts so we can minimize down time. Additional rehearsals or anything else that is needed to get a replacement up to speed are no problem at all. This is a very serious project and it wouldn’t work well if there wasn’t a very strong commitment, so please factor that in. Our website (at the bottom) has our music. Just send along/confirm you have these things: -Samples of your playing in previous projects -On stage experience -Reliable transportation -Willingness to practice 2x a week (around 2 hrs per practice right in the middle of the East End) -Ability to dedicate as much time as possible to getting things tight so we can jump back in ASAP -We are in our 30s and we’d like to keep the age range pretty consistent -Tour experience and local connections are a huge plus.
