Description
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Banana pudding. Fried chicken. Bacon. Pancake. These ingredients make a mouthful of a new dish brought to the Upper West Side by a pair of its most iconic eateries.
Jacob's Pickles and Magnolia Bakery are teaming up this summer to pile upon a single plate fried chicken and a banana-pudding-stuffed pancake topped with crispy bacon, candied pecans and a maple drizzle.
"To say we're THRILLED is the understatement of the year," Jacob's Pickles wrote on its Instagram. "We're HUGE fans of #magnoliabakery and their amazing team and couldn't be happier to partner with them."
The $28 dish — which appears to be a banana-forward play on the classic chicken and waffles — will be available exclusively at Jacob's Pickles on Amsterdam Avenue (between West 84th and 85th streets) through Sept. 5.

Jacob's Pickles, on the other hand, has made a name for itself with its extravagant and supersized menu items.
A video posted to the UWS restaurant's website gives you an even better look at the dish.

"WHAT in the fatness is happening here?!" one person commented with a mouthwatering emoji and "#getinmybelly."
"So this is what heaven on earth is like," another person on Instagram wrote.
Concluded a third, "WOW."
