DETROIT — A new Detroit comedy club, set to open June 24 in Downtown Detroit announced its first set shows. The Detroit House of Comedy will open inside Detroit's Hockeytown Cafe at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Montcalm Street. Hans Kim will headline the club's grand opening on June 24 at 8 p.m. Other headliners include: Hans Kim - June 24-25Jeff Horste - June 30 - July 2Sasheer Zamata - July 7 - 9 Shane Torres - July 14 - 17 Ali Siddiq - July 21 - 23 Michael Ian Black - July 28 - 30 Jessica Kirson - August 4 - 6 Pete Lee - August 11 - 13 And Then We Had Sex Podcast:The Live Experience - August 14 Darius Bennett - August 18 - 20 Doug Stanhope - August 26 Josh Adams - August 27 Mo Mandel September - 1 - 3The 300-seat club was founded by John Tobin and Rick Bronson, who have more than 60 years of comedy and entertainment experience between the two of them.
