The Town of Pierce has a full time opening for Public Works Technician II. Temporary/ Seasonal. Job is 40 hours per week/ seasonal. Potential to turn into full time/ permanent. Starting pay is $17.00 hour. Job duties include but are not limited to municipal property maintenance and repair, mowing, park irrigation, reading water meters, street maintenance, and working with the water and wastewater system. Will be exposed to outside elements. Experience operating hand and power tools. Knowledge of operating power and motorized equipment, general building and property maintenance highly desired. This job is physically demanding. Training will be provided. Must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record to be insured.
