Seeking to rehome a 5 yr old blue female parakeet. She really needs to go to a home with no hyperactive kiddos or dogs and preferably with other parakeet friends available to her. We just got a puppy recently for the first time and she doesn't seem to be handling it well. She was use to peace and quiet. She is also use to flying around the house for excersize a bit. She would do well with a new mate also I think. Her bird husband passed away about 4 months ago (not sure why...he did not appear sick at all, and she has never been sick either). I would like her to be happy spending her last years with a new friend. Maybe a bird lover with another bird? She unfortuately is not the hand held friendly type. She was skittish already when I got her as a recue when she was younger. I am only asking a rehome fee of $50 if you take all her toys, extra food I have and the small cage in first pictures. All of that stuff is worth more than $50 in itself. Please don't take her unless you have a quiter type low stress home. And please, she is NOT snake or cat food! (Yes, there are people who do this. That is how she was a rescue).
