Looking to adopt a dog

Looking to adopt a dog. No particular breed preference, but would like short-hair. We thought we had something set up, but the guy just stopped responding.  Rehoming fee is okay, but more important he is a good fit (maybe trial period?). We live in a nice neighborhood with a large yard. Please send details in email! Not looking for a puppy- would prefer an adult dog. We have done the puppy thing already haha.
