Our company prides itself on being an industry leader in providing quality construction and exceptional customer service. We are looking for entry level or experienced Solar Installers. Apply HERE: Job Purpose: Assemble and install solar photovoltaic system modules, support structures, and balance-of-system components on residential roof structures in accordance with design schematics, codes, and company standards. Essential Job Functions: · Review design plans to verify materials required for installation · Follow company inventory and material documentation procedures · Layout array borders and support structure penetrations prior to drilling · Ensure array support structures are secured to roof trusses · Apply weather sealing to array, conduit, and equipment support mechanisms · Install standoffs, rails, and wiring. Check rails for trueness before setting panels · Demonstrate system functionality testing start-up, shut down, and normal operation · Collect and remove any trash or debris from the roof and ground that was generated during the installation process · Complete and submit installation checklist documentation · Always treat customers and their property in a professional manner · Maintain clean and orderly company vehicles · Adhere to company safety standards Qualifications: · 1 or more years construction experience such as: roofing, framing, or electrical · The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics · Must have a clean driving record to drive a company vehicle · Must have a valid driver’s license · Must have reliable transportation to and from work Additional Information: · This is a full-time position Physical Requirements: · Standing, driving, climbing ladders, and operating power tools · Working outdoors on rooftops 80% of the time · Lifting 40-80 lbs
