How he got the name Sleepy Joe was on full display at the White House yesterday during an event that was aimed at calming the nerves of Americans worried about inflation and food shortages. It did the exact opposite. Seems to have Total Disdain for us peasants. Two examples: On the baby formula shortage, a reporter pressed Biden on his accountability: Reporter: "Why didn't you move quicker on the baby formula shortage?" Biden: "I don't think anyone anticipated the impact of the shutdown of [the Abbott] facility." Reporter: "Didn't the CEOs just tell you they understood it would have a very big impact?" Biden: "THEY did but I DIDN'T" ...of course, we know that Resident JB did know. His administration admitted they were aware, at least, as far back as February. But THEY took zero action. On gas prices and food shortages, Resident Joe effectively admitted that he has no solution for the problems: "There's a lot going on right now but the idea we're going to be able to click a switch, bring down the cost of gasoline, is not likely in the near term. Nor is it with regard to food." So here we are, the National average for gas prices continue to tick higher every single day. Today it's sitting at an all-time high of $4.715 per gallon with overall inflation seemingly out of control. We are basically adrift in the middle of the ocean with our engine DELIBERATELY turned off and the captain is happy being asleep at the wheel, with many of us peasants in our cabins below the waterline as he heads to the iceberg.
