Description

We are fostering 5 year old Caroline for a no kill animal rescue and trying to help her find the perfect home. Caroline was relinquished from a farm who had too many dogs. She was used for breeding and then neglected because she wouldn't hunt and was killing their chickens. She was also not being fed so she was probably killing the chickens to survive. The rescue we foster for took her in, got her spayed and up to date on shots and has gotten her to a healthy weight. She was never allowed indoors but has been doing really well going potty outside as long as you can get her outside every few hours. She walks great on a leash and LOVES to play with other DOG FRIENDLY dogs. She does have a prey drive, so no cats, pet rabbits, ferrets, etc. We are hoping to find her a home that has someone home most of the time as she gets incredible anxiety being crated, or someone who has a clean basement space, etc. to keep her in and can go home at lunch time to let her out. She also should go to a home that has a completely fenced yard, or someone who has the energy to walk her each time she needs to go out, not tie her out\ or leave her out alone since hounds can climb fences and dig under fences. She is a very sweet girl and loves all people but does jump out of excitement, so no small children. Her adoption fee is $200.00 which includes her food and Kong that she loves to have filled with treats or peanut butter to keep her busy. Please call if interested. We will deliver her to her new home but we will ask questions forst to make sure she is going to a safe home. NO texts please.
