Been trying to get a small group together for 2 months now…. Doesn’t seem possible to get more than 2 musicians to find a common meeting time or rehearsal time. Several people on CL may recognize me by my qualifications and experience. So, here’s my plan: I’m a bassist who does play guitar, does some harmony vocal, and has over 50 years’ experience. I’ve played in 5-piece, 4-piece, trio, and duet settings. I prefer pop, country, and folk genres. I’m not into jazz, metal, thrash, etc. I’m open to group size, but am not looking to work with a musician/singer who wishes to primarily promote his/her own original music. I’m looking to book small/medium venues: bars, coffee houses type stuff; but I’m perfectly comfortable on stage. I’m located in Lake Country and I’m definitely retired and am available basically 24/7 for gigs and/or rehearsals. I have professional equipment.My song experience list (150-200 songs is a partial list) is available for the asking. I’m ready to go now – so…. Anybody interested?
