Element Outdoor Living has the perfect Crew Leader opportunity for you! We are a dynamic, growth-focused and progressive landscape design, installation and maintenance company, located by the coast in Wilmington, North Carolina.   Our culture and core values require someone with a strong work ethic, integrity, initiative, attention to detail, and adaptability. Our Crew Leader will lead a 4 person team on client maintenance and new installation projects.  Our culture & core values provide a fun work environment with a strong focus on teamwork and achieving results.     A day in the life of our Crew Leaders: Performing various landscape duties such as:   Coaching and developing team members Leading team members to ensure high-quality outcomes on all client projects Planting, transplanting, pruning, weeding, pest monitoring, fertilization, watering, site clean-up, and all other plant health care and maintenance function assigned. Installation of hardscape projects like patios, walkways, retaining walls, seat walls, etc. using a wide range of materials. Installation of plant materials. Transporting personnel and materials. Utilizing equipment as needed. Adhering to safety standards at the work site Other duties as assigned   Our ideal candidate is:  experienced in the landscape industry, with either maintenance or installation a strong leader with at least 2 years of experience leading a crew positive, proactive, professional  organized and detail-oriented with a focus on producing high quality projects career and growth-minded  able to develop a strong rapport with team members     Preferred qualifications, skills, and experience:  Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record is a plus We offer a competitive compensation program, including an hourly rate of $28 per hour based on experience.  In addition, we offer health insurance, paid holidays and Paid Time Off for our Crew Members.   Element Outdoor Living offers a fun, collaborative team environment with a strong commitment to our core values:   Q Quality  U Unique  A Action  L Leadership  I Integrity  T Teamwork  Y YOU!!
