Now Hiring: Apartment Turnover Contractor. Seeking contractors in both east Columbus and Lancaster Duties: Trash-out and prep vacant apartment homes Repair all drywall issues Paint walls Repair general plumbing components to include toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits breakers, breaker boxes, receptacles, switches, outlets, GFCIs, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Install and repair appliances. Paint or upgrade cabinets as needed Install countertops or laminate covering as needed Install flooring as needed Replace bath vanities, lighting and other fixtures as directed by Property Manager Deliver apartments in functional and aesthetically move-in ready condition Requirements: At least 3 years of painting, drywall, and property maintenance experience working in a maintenance field, preferably in an apartment/multifamily community environment. References & work samples strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, and ability to retain transaction-specific information. Answer simple inquiries related to business workings and project premise. Possess your own basic tools. (We provide materials and all other items related to the job at hand.) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet 100% of the time. Possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage. Utilize personal transportation to and from our properties and vendors. Ability to work independently to complete projects, juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. A contract with complete information to ensure perfect end result is provided for every apartment. Payment is weekly, and per job and made upon project completion. This is a 1099 position. We provide all materials. You provide tools and labor. Work schedule is subject to change. Several units available for the next 30 days, and the opportunity to have steady work year round
