So if you take the position that the amount of guns and access to them has nothing to do with the epidemic of mass shootings in the U.S. then you have to conclude that American society is really much crazier and more evil than the other nations that do not have this problem. If that is true then the GOP claims that America is greater would be false. So data as well as common sense shows that Americans are no more evil or crazy than other societies so therefor the cause has to be the amount of guns and easy access. Other evidence supports that as well such as the fact that nations that enacted gun regulations right after mass shootings eliminated the problem and Australia, New Zealand and England are recent examples. Other nations like Japan and most of Europe also have strict regulations and mass shootings are not a frequent problem. Only the U.S. has this problem and only the U.S. has this number of guns and this access to them so the answer to the problem is obvious even to a 3 year old child. The Democrats are 100% correct about this as the above evidence proves and the Republicans who have been blocking action for decades have the blood of countless American children on their hands.
