It's about being human. We are flawed. The Anthropologist would say we are maladapted to cultural normative behavior and have broken down to the point of using homicide and suicide as methods of population control. The Sociologist would say we are in anomie. Psychologists would tell us we are in need of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy. Psychiatrists would tell us we have overdeveloped ids, underdeveloped super-egos. The Theologian would tell us God is the answer. They are all right, and they are all wrong. So, I don't have a clue what an answer might be. Pray for peace.
