NW Employment Solutions is partnered with a local family owned power equipment dealer in Oak Grove, OR, and we are looking to add Small Engine Mechanics to our team! Job Description: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and rotating Sat 9am-2pm 1 hour break each day Wage: $20-$23/hr DOE We are searching for a technician with experience in 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. It will primarily include handheld outdoor power equipment and lawnmowers. You must have your own basic set of tools necessary to complete work on various equipment. Have basic knowledge for engines to run effectively. Although prior experience will be necessary in some areas, training on the job will be supplied. Our shops are furnished with lift benches and many of the speciality tools required to complete work. Primary Duties include but are not limited to: *Diagnose and repair multiple brands of 2-stroke engines on handheld equipment *Diagnose and repair multiple brands of 4-stroke engines on equipment *Interpret Part Schematics *Utilize part look-up tools accurately *Record work order entries on a computer system Other required skills *Attention to detail *Highly organized *Participation in supplier training opportunities *Teamwork skills *Open availability to weekends and potentially seasonal overtime If you or someone you know may be interested in this position, call or text "Motor" to Erin at 971-601-4983
