Hi, We own 90 apartments in Hendersonville, TN. We are looking for an experienced handyman who is looking for a flexible, part-time contracting position. This person should have experience with general repairs similar to what is needed for an apartment building. We are looking for someone who can handle light repairs across plumbing, electrical, maintenance, carpentry, etc., but they do not need expertise in any or all. Example work to be completed includes: • Drywall repair • Painting (interior & exterior) • Replacing light fixtures • Light plumbing work • Light electrical work • Light property trash cleanup • Minor deck repair • Trips to the local dump • Pressure washing • Apartment walks to evaluate what needs to be replaced before a new tenant arrives • Misc. other repairs • Be the “eyes & ears” on our property and report issues or projects that need more expertise to the owners We offer competitive pay and a flexible schedule. We are estimating this position will require 10-20 hours of work a week; however there is flexibility for more work as well. This person should have their own transportation and tools. We offer a variable pay scale depending on if the applicant has insurance, contractor’s license, limited electrician/plumber license, wide range of tools, etc. The role does not require the handyman to be a 24/7 emergency maintenance contact.
