S&S Asset Management, a premier property management company, is currently seeking full time maintenance technicians to join our team. Position is Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM, Saturdays 9:00AM-1:00PM. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for efficiently performing all necessary maintenance for the apartment community and/or single family rental home and to assist the Maintenance Supervisor and the Community Manager with any and all tasks necessary. Plenty of room for advancement within this fast growing company! Job duties include, but are not limited to: -Makes general electrical repairs -Performs carpentry work, and light plumbing duties as required -Repairs and/or Installs appliance and electrical fixtures as required -Installs, repairs and rekeys deadbolt locks -Job requires drywall and/or patching and installation. -Handles designated service requests -Moves appliances -Assists maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop -Assists with readying vacant units for new residents -Adheres to company key procedures -Participating in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventive maintenance program -Reports any maintenance problems -Assists with resident functions as required -Other duties as assigned This list may not be inclusive of the total scope of job functions to be performed. Other requirements: -Must be prompt, on time to work and have good, regular attendance -Maintain courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc. -Be able to work on-call, overtime, weekend, holiday, and evening (rotating schedule as required- shared amongst other technicians) -Must have mode of communication in which to be contacted after hours to respond in cases of emergency -Have reliable and insured transportation and a valid driver's license Please send an up to date resume when showing interest in this position.
