General Description
We are seeking a qualified and highly competent property maintenance specialist to grow with us as we take the next steps in our portfolio management. Work directly with the ownership group to maximize the operations through the towns of Eagle and Gypsum.
Duties may include, but are not limited to: lighting systems, electrical systems, walkway maintenance, door repairs, rubbish removal, monthly site inspections, maintaining inventory and supply list documentation, janitorial services, plumbing, review and completing work orders, maintenance tracking and scheduling systems, HVAC, painting, furniture relocation, assist in construction/renovation projects, scheduling annual inspections and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Inspect facilities regularly to ensure it meets safety standards.
Execute routine maintenance in all facilities.
Assist manager in organizing repair projects in a manner that does not disturb clients.
Act quickly and effectively to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages).
Find ways to reduce operating costs and conserve energy.
Ensure effective relationships with contractors and service providers.
Track expenses and activity logs.
A complete schedule of duties (e.g. quarterly alarm tests).
Other duties as required by the Facilities Manager.
Work Experience Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snowblowers, lawnmowers, and small hand tools.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
College Degree advantageous
