Description
My name is Calvin, I'm 23 and have been playing drums for the past 13 years, completely self-taught with a firm grasp on grooves and odd time signatures. I've spent about the past year or so investing in a gig-worthy drum set with decent sounding cymbals, as well as strengthening my connection and love for music.
Sonically, I'm looking for a band that embodies the same envelope-shoving energy that bands such as Primus and Nuclear Rabbit, but I'm open to any sort of bass-heavy, groovy prog funk or proggy/mathy sounding music, without dipping to heavily into metal or anything too obscure that nobody will comprehend what we're trying to convey through our music.
420 and psych friendly, nothing hard/an excessive amount of alcohol. No bigots, looking for people who have the same sort of respect and decency toward POC/LGBT/any other marginalized groups I didn't mention.
