Job Description We are searching for an effective, and hardworking associate who can specialize in making a range of our products from scratch using our recipes. Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm What we offer: • Competitive pay • On the job training • Career advancement opportunities • Paid personal days, sick leave, and vacation • 401K with employer 4% investment per pay period • Health, Dental Care & Vision • Bonuses & Team Discount Job Duties: • Assist with handmaking our super premium products, including but not limited to Ice Cream, Gelato, Sorbet, and an assortment of Bakery products • Learn how to handle all of our frozen and or chilled handmade products in accordance with DOH proper food handling • Be able to efficiently manage time and maintain quality control in all of our products • Regularly clean and maintain work stations and equipment • Be able to take directions and perform tasks with a positive attitude • Complete any tasks assigned by management • Assist with Re-stocking and managing freezer/refrigerated and dry warehouse inventory in accordance with FIFO • Assist with upkeeping Lappert’s Hawaii’s Kauai freezer space and dry goods warehouse Job Requirements: • High School Degree or Equivalent • Be able to work occasional overtime • Be able to show up for all shifts on time, shifts can end at 6:00 PM • Be able to regularly work in a freezer climate • Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50lbs in addition to being able to push and/or pull up to 1,000 lbs. with a pallet jack • Must be able to Legally work in the United States and Sate of Hawaii • Have a flexible schedule; may require weekends and shift coverage • Pass a drug screening • Provide a Negative TB Test before your first day of work • Maintains a friendly, family-oriented professional profile to build a relationship with our Lappert's Hawaii team and customers • Clear and friendly communication skills in writing and speech • Culturally Sensitive towards others • Upkeep of personal hygiene • Works well with others and superiors • Loves food (Appreciated, but not required)
