Description
As Forklift Operator, you will:
• Inspect and complete Forklift inspection form at the start of the shift.
• Complete combo scale weight checks and record twice daily.
• Transfer pallets of product on production floor to multiple designated areas.
• Use scan guns to build pallets and or shipments.
• Load and unload trailers for shipment, storage and receiving.
• Clean up equipment and work area at end of shift.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be able to work in a cold temperature wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Friday. Overtime based on production needs.
• Ability to complete Safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) training and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training.
Other Qualifications:
• Prior forklift/jack experience
• Prior production experience
• High School Diploma or GED
Packers start @$16/hr. and will not operate the Forklift. Leads to union membership! Please call for immediate consideration!
