ARMSTRONG RELOCATION is an award winning agent and one of the largest haulers of household goods for United Van Lines. We offer a "step up" program for Non CDL drivers and Mover Helpers who want to obtain a CDL. These individuals must have a clean driving record, excellent attendance and are well respected by our crews and customers. We will train you to be a professional mover and crew leader. We will teach you how to move customer goods without damaging the goods or property. As you are training to become a professional crew leader, our safety representative will assist you in obtaining your United driver number. This is a requirement for anyone who drives a company vehicle. Once you receive your driver number and have completed training, you will have the ability and opportunity to drive on local intrastate and interstate moves. Local drivers are paid an hourly rate and intra and interstate drivers are paid a percentage of the linehaul. Also, once you receive your driver number, you may have the opportunity to obtain a CDL and possibly become an owner operator. If you have the desire to get a CDL, we provide assistance in obtaining the permit and schooling that is necessary.
