How do gun owners respond to the question "is your right to own a gun more important than the life of a child"? “Screw you, hippie.” Anyone so dumb as to ask this question isn’t worth talking to because they can’t be convinced. “Let’s go shooting, I’ll give you a safety course first, and I’ll show you.” This is a good one because it does two things. If they don’t take the offer, it shows they are a loser who’s not talking in good faith. If they claim they’re already a firearms expert, it shows they are lying because they wouldn’t have asked the dumb question. “So why do cops have guns? To protect children! Bingo.” Then laugh in their face for being idiots. “You bigots. How do you think a black woman can protect her child from gangs if she doesn’t have a gun? I’ve never heard anything more racist.” Pretty simple but takes a little while. Again, it’ll bounce off any idiot who asks this question, but it’s decent for onlookers. Here are some well-protected kids! (Notice that they are following all gun safety rules too!)
