A policeman handcuffed himself to a woman who was trying to kill herself by threatening to jump off an advertising board in central Beijing, capital of China, on Wednesday, officials said. The officer handcuffed himself to her and threw away the key, according to a spokesperson, and said that if she threw herself, he would fall with her. After more than 30 minutes of tension, she gave up and was rescued.
