Date Saturday June 18, 2022 Time: 12:30 to 6pm We are moving through times of intense change, opportunity, learning, loss and unlearning - and meanwhile the sun, moon, and stars keep turning. We invite you to join us for a day of practice and community. Location: outdoors on Bainbridge Island, WA ~ address will be shared on registration. Standard: $90Supported: $70Supporter: $105 and abovePlease ensure we have your best email address so we can send your confirmation and workshop information. we gather at this high summer time to observe the Solstice to release, re-set, and remember to resource ourselves and one another through movement, reflection, kinship, and simple ceremony giving thanks for the places where we have plenty for the land and waters where we live releasing and clearing where we are over-full exploring and re-committing to what is ours to take care of, to learn, to offer, and to live. Evening potluck and fire circle after, for those who would like to stay. The 5Rhythms® is a powerful movement practice which guides participants to re-connect with their own innate body-knowledge, wellness, and wisdom. Each of the 5Rhythms – Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness – is a distinct field of energy-in-motion, and each one holds specific teachings. Since 2001, Joanne has held a steady space for the growth and evolution of a robust 5Rhythms community in Victoria BC, and has shared her love of this practice with students throughout the region. She approaches this work with a deep respect for its alchemical nature, and for the unique discovery process of each participant.
