Description

This grant funded presentation will provide attendees with an introductory overview of numerous domestic terror groups and criminally subversive subcultures which are present in communities small and large across the United States. The presentation will provide a definition of violent extremism and focus on awareness of individuals and groups that attempt to advance social, political or religious beliefs through force or violence. At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees will be better positioned to identify racially and ideologically motivated behavior and discern between criminal activity and First Amendment protected speech and actions.
