I have a beautiful pied Ringneck Dove named Cookie I need to rehome. I believe he is a male. I was told by the breeder that he is a female but he was never gender tested. Cookie bows and coos like a male and has never layed eggs. The problem is that I already have another male dove who is very territorial. My older dove picks on Cookie a lot. For Cookie’s safety I need to find him a new home. Cookie is very friendly and loves popcorn as a treat. He’ll land on your head sometimes. I wouldn’t call Cookie tame but he is easy to pick up when you want to put him back in his cage. Cookie loves sitting by the window and cooing. He also loves to play with his toys. I will give whoever adopts Cookie his favorite toy to take with him. He would be best in a home where he can be a spoiled house pet like any other pet bird. Cookie gets along well with my budgies, finches, and canary. Just not my other dove. I love Cookie very much but it’s not fair for him to live in this house with my other dove. Text if interested. I’m asking $50 because I paid $150 for him and Cookie is also a less common color of dove. You must have some experience with birds.
