About this event This class is designed to prepare your child for the arrival of new brother or sister and the upcoming changes in your family. This one-hour session is filled with fun activities and discussions to let kids feel good about being a big brother or sister. Children will have a chance to tour where their mom is going to be, where their sibling will be born, meet the nurses, practice holding a doll, importance of being gentle, hand hygiene, and learn how they can help with a new baby. Parents will remain in the classroom to make the child more comfortable and to help with tasks. Sometimes older siblings do want to stay alone which is OK.
