Description
MALDEN, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Health is partnering with the City of Malden to provide free COVID-19 vaccines at a Malden clinic every Saturday in June.
The clinics will be held at the Malden YMCA each Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vaccines will be completely free, regardless of insurance status.
Those who get their first dose at the Malden clinic will receive a $100 gift card to a grocery store, while supplies last. Those who get their second dose or booster will receive a $25 grocery gift card.
The clinics are part of the Massachusetts Department of Health's Vaccine Equity Initiative, working to boost awareness and acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine.
"We know that vaccines and boosters are the best way to protect our community against COVID-19," Malden Mayor Gary Christenson said. "We are grateful to DPH for helping us ensure our friends and neighbors have access to the COVID-19 vaccine."
