STAMFORD, CT — Greenwich police on Wednesday announced that they have secured an arrest warrant for a man they say robbed an M&T Bank in Cos Cob last month.
The warrant is for Joseph C. Heffner, 42, of Stamford, according to Lt. Martin O'Reilly of the Greenwich Police Department. The warrant comes with first-degree robbery and fourth-degree larceny charges, as well as a $500,000 bond.
Joseph C. Heffner. (courtesy of Greenwich Police Department) At approximately 10:15 a.m. on May 11, police said they received a report of a robbery at the M&T Bank on the Post Road in Cos Cob. No injuries were reported, and a man fled the bank with less than $5,000, police said.
Heffner is listed at 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, according to police.
