FALMOUTH, MA — A man died after he was pulled from a motel pool in Falmouth on Memorial Day, the Cape and Island District Attorney's Office confirmed.
Officers responded to Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge at 164 Falmouth Heights Road around 6:25 p.m. Monday after receiving a 911 call from an employee of a possible drowning.
Once emergency crews got there, the man was being pulled from the pool. EMTs and members from Falmouth Fire Department began performing CPR on the man before he was taken to Falmouth Hospital, where police confirmed he later died.
The man's name has not yet been released pending the notification of family members.
Falmouth police officers and the DA's office say this incident is under investigation.
